Glytrin Tablet includes 'Teneligliptin,' a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor used to treat type 2 diabetes when diet and exercise alone are insufficient to regulate blood sugar levels. Glytrin Tablet works by inhibiting DPP-4 (an enzyme that degrades the hormone 'Incretin'). The enzyme 'Incretins' aids in the production of more insulin just when it is required and lowers the blood sugar level of the liver when it is not required. Glytrin Tablet should not be used to treat diabetic ketoacidosis or in people with type 1 diabetes. As a result, Glytrin Tablet serves an important role in managing blood sugar levels and preventing major diabetes consequences such as vision loss (retinopathy), kidney damage (nephropathy), diabetic foot ulcers, nerve damage (neuropathy), and slowed wound healing.
