Grilinctus-L Oral Suspension 100 ml belongs to the class of antitussives which is cough medicine. It is mainly used to prevents dry cough. Coughing is a reflex that helps clear the throat of foreign objects and mucus. A dry cough refers to a cough in which phlegm or secretions are not present along with the cough. The most common causes of cough are cold/flu, asthma, emphysema, and COPD.

Grilinctus-L Oral Suspension 100ml contains Levocloperastine Hydrochloride, a cough suppressant. It works by blocking cough receptors present in the brain that are known to cause coughing. It does not treat chronic cough, smoking cough, emphysema, or asthma.
