GTN Spray is a drug of the anti-anginal medicament class. GTN Spray is primarily used to prevent angina attacks and to treat angina caused by coronary artery disease. Angina is caused when the heart does not receive enough oxygen. When the heart does not receive enough oxygenated blood, it cannot work properly. If effective therapy is not received at the appropriate time, it might result in a heart attack, heart failure, or arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats).
Usage instructions-
- To use GTN Spray, open your mouth, elevate your tongue, and firmly push the bottle button to spray the medicine under your tongue. After spraying the dosage, close your mouth. Before using, do not shake the bottle. With food or without, you can use GTN Spray. Take it at a fixed time.
How it works-
GTN Spray contains Glyceryl Trinitrate, is a natural vasodilator. It works by relaxing the blood arteries and lowering the amount of oxygen required by the heart. As a result, it lessens the burden on the heart and avoids angina attacks.
