How it works-
Halox S Ointment is a mixture of two medications that treat eczema and psoriasis: Halobetasol and Salicylic acid. Halobetasol is an anabolic steroid medication. It inhibits the creation of chemical messengers (prostaglandins), which cause the skin to become red, puffy, and itching. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic medication that softens the skin by breaking down keratin clumps and removing dead skin cells. It also improves Halobetasol absorption via the skin.
