Hepalo 0.5 Tablet is an antiviral medicine used to treat chronic HBV infection in patients with severe liver impairment. Hepalo 0.5 Tablet decreases viral levels in the patient's body but does not cure the condition. Hepalo 0.5 Tablet may also not prevent hepatitis B consequences such as liver cirrhosis. It also does not stop the spread of HBV to others.

• Make sure you take Hepalo 0.5 Tablet in the amount and for as long as your doctor tells you to. You should have this drug empty stomach.

How it works-

Hepalo 0.5 Tablet is a virus-fighting medicine. It inhibits viral replication in human cells. This prevents the virus from reproducing new viruses and eliminates your illness.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Hepalo 0.5 Tablet is probably not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Talk to your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Hepalo 0.5 Tablet. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unknown whether it is safe or not to take alcohol with Hepalo 0.5 Tablet.

Driving

Hepalo 0.5 Tablet may impair eyesight, reduce awareness, or cause you to feel drowsy and lightheaded. If you have these symptoms, don't drive.

Kidney

Hepalo 0.5 Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult to your physician.

Liver 

It's totally safe for people with liver disease to take Hepalo 0.5 Tablet. You don't need to change your dose.
