Isordil 5 Sublingual tablet is used to treat some forms of heart failure and to avoid angina pectoris caused by coronary artery disease. Angina pectoris is characterized as a sudden, intense, severe pain that radiates from the apex of the heart to the left shoulder. The pain is strong and crushing, with a sense of pressure and suffocation behind the breastbone.

How it works-

Isordil 5 Sublingual tablet relieves anginal symptoms by relaxing the blood vessels of the heart, reducing the pressure on the heart and making it simpler to pump blood.

Pregnancy

Alcohol

While using Isordil 5 Sublingual tablet, drinking alcohol may produce flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest discomfort, and low blood pressure (Disulfiram response).

Driving

Isordil 5 Sublingual tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

It is safe for people with kidney disease to take Isordil 5 Sublingual tablet. You don't need to change your dose.

Liver

Isordil 5 Sublingual tablet is probably safe for use in people with liver problem. Due to limited data available, dose adjustments may not be necessary in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
