Justoza 10 Tablet is 'anti-diabetic' medication that is primarily used to control and treat type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is a disease in which there is either less insulin or the present insulin is not efficiently used by our body cells in order to decrease high blood glucose levels. It is the most prevalent kind of diabetes, accounting for approximately 90% of all diabetes diagnoses in middle-aged persons. As a result, it is often referred to as adult-onset diabetes or non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM).

How it works-

Justoza 10 Tablet is a sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitor used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It reduces blood sugar levels by inhibiting the function of SGLT-2 in the kidney and excretes excess sugar through urine.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Justoza 10 Tablet is probably not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Justoza 10 Tablet. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is not safe to consume alcohol with Justoza 10 Tablet.

Driving

If you have too high or too low blood sugar, it could affect your ability to drive. If you experience these symptoms, don't drive.

Kidney

Justoza 10 Tablet should be avoided in those who have kidney problems. Please consult your physician.

Liver

It is safe for people with liver disease to take Justoza 10 Tablet. You don't need to change your dose.
