Kofirax Syrup is a combination medication used to treat coughs with mucus. Kofirax Syrup reduces the amount of mucus in your nose, in your windpipe and in your lungs, making it easier to cough. Kofirax Syrup also reduces the number of times you sneeze, itch, and your eyes become watery.

How it works-

Kofirax Syrup is a mixture of three drugs that reduces cough with mucus: ambroxol, levosalbutamol, and guaifenesin. A mucolytic, such as ambroxol, thins and loosens phlegm to make coughing more bearable. Bronchodilator levosalbutamol is used for. It acts by relaxing the muscles in the airways and expanding them. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that helps mucus (phlegm) leave the respiratory system by reducing its stickiness. They collaborate to make breathing simpler.
