Lacosam 100 Tablet belongs to the anticonvulsant class and is primarily used to treat focal (partial) seizures in adults and children aged four and up. Focal or partial-onset seizures are distinguished by aberrant electrical activity in only one hemisphere of the brain. Lacosamide, found in Lacosam 100 Tablet, is used to treat seizures by lowering disorganised electrical activity in the brain.

Lacosam 100 Tablet is an antiepileptic medication, commonly known as an anticonvulsant. It is used to treat focal seizures in adults and children over the age of four. Seizures happen as a result of aberrant electrical activity in the brain. The sodium channels across neuron membranes can be inactivated by Lacosam 100 Tablet. This inactivation reduces neuron messages, lowering the electrical disturbance or aberrant activity in the brain.
