The anticonvulsant drug class that includes Lacoxa 15 mg Syrup is mostly used to treat focal (partial) seizures in adults and children who are four years old and older. Only one brain hemisphere exhibits aberrant electrical activity during focal or partial-onset seizures. The active ingredient in Lacoxa 15 mg Syrup is lacosamide, which lessens the brain's chaotic electrical activity to cure seizures. It is used either alone or in conjunction with other antiepileptic medications. The dosage and duration of Lacoxa 15mg Syrup should be followed exactly as directed by your doctor.
Usage instructions-
- Read the pack carefully and use as directed by your doctor.
How it works-
Lacoxa 15mg Syrup reduces the excessive and aberrant activity of nerve cells in the brain by gradually deactivating the sodium gated channels. It therefore regulates seizures or fits.
