Lanol ER Tablet relieves pain and fever by inhibiting the release of particular chemical messengers that cause fever and discomfort. Lanol ER Tablet is used for headaches, migraine, tooth pain, sore throat, menstrual pain, arthritis, muscle pain, and cold symptoms.

• The dose and duration of Lanol ER Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.  You can have this drug with food.

How it works-

Lanol ER Tablet acts by blocking the formation of prostaglandins, which are chemical messengers in the brain. As a result, pain is reduced. Lanol ER Tablet also has an effect on the hypothalamus heat-regulating center, which is a part of the brain that controls body temperature. As a result, it lowers fever.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Lanol ER Tablet is probably not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is safe to breastfeed with Lanol ER Tablet. According to human studies, the drug does not enter the breast milk in large amounts and is not harmful for the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Lanol ER Tablet.

Driving

Lanol ER Tablet does not affect your drive.

Kidney

Lanol ER Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
