Primary tonic-clonic generalised seizures caused by myoclonic epilepsy.

How it works-
A drug used to treat epilepsy is called Levipil Injection. It binds to certain locations (SV2A) on the surfaces of nerve cells to perform its function. Consequently, seizures are suppressed and electrical signals that trigger seizures are not allowed to propagate throughout the brain's nerve cells.

Levetiracetam is the active component of Levipil Injection, 5 ml. It functions by reducing the aberrant brain messages that lead to seizures. It aids in the suppression of particular brain regions that are in charge of aberrant activity and stops the propagation of electrical impulses that result in seizures. Although it lowers the frequency of seizures, it does not treat epilepsy.
