Levipil syrup consists medications levetiracetam, which belongs to the part of anticonvulsants. Used to treat epilepsy. Epilepsy is a disorder of the central nervous system in which abnormal brain activity causes seizures, abnormal sensations and behaviors, and sometimes loss of consciousness.
Levipil syrup is used in combination with other antiepileptic drugs to treat focal-onset seizures, myoclonic seizures with or without generalization. It is also used to treat convulsions, juvenile myoclonic epilepsy, primary tonic-clonic seizures, and idiopathic generalized epilepsy.
Usage instructions-
- Use as directed by your doctor or read pack carefully.
How it works-
Levipil syrup acts on the brain to alter the release of certain neurochemicals. Brain cells use electrical signals and chemicals to communicate with each other. When this communication is interrupted, a seizure (seizure) occurs. Levetiracetam binds to a protein (SV2A) present in the central nervous system and inhibits the release of abnormal neurochemicals (neurotransmitters). This does not affect normal brain communication.
Safety information-
PREGNANCY
It is recommended to consult your doctor before taking it during pregnancy.

LIVER
If you have any concerns about using this medicine in patients with liver impairment, please consult your doctor.
Levipil syrup consists properties of levetiracetam used together or alone to treat symptoms of epilepsy. It works by slowing down abnormal signals emitted by the brain, causing epileptic seizures. It helps by suppressing specific brain areas responsible for abnormal activity and preventing the spread of electrical signals that cause seizures. It lowers seizure frequency but does not cure epilepsy.
