Linapride M 1000 Tablet is an anti-diabetic combination of Linagliptin (DPP4 inhibitors) and Metformin (Biguanides). Type 2 diabetes is a disease in which the body either stops generating enough insulin (the hormone that helps to lower blood sugar levels) or develops resistance to insulin action. As a result, insulin is created in high quantities but is unable to function in the organs of the body.

How it works-
Linapride M 1000 Tablet comprises the DPP4 inhibitors Linagliptin and Metformin (Biguanide). Linagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that inhibits the function of DPP-4, an enzyme that degrades the hormone incretin, which helps the body create more insulin only when needed. It also decreases the quantity of sugar generated by the liver when it is not required. Metformin works by decreasing glucose synthesis in the liver, slowing glucose absorption from the intestines, and boosting insulin sensitivity. It works together to keep blood glucose levels from increasing to dangerously high levels after meals.
