Lisoril 5 HT Tablet is a mixture of Lisinopril and Hydrochlorothiazide, both of which are antihypertensive medications. Lisoril 5 HT Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It is usually used in individuals who haven't reacted well to either of the single drugs.

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Lisoril 5 HT Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. You can have this drug with meals or without.

How it works-

Lisoril 5 HT Tablet is a blood pressure medication. Lisoril 5 HT Tablet relaxes your blood vessels while increasing blood flow through them. It also thins the blood by excreting excess fluids from the body in the form of urine. These measures, taken together, minimize the strain on the heart and allow it to pump blood more smoothly and with less pressure.

Pregnancy

Lisoril 5 HT Tablet should be avoided during pregnancy. Although there have been few human research, animal studies have revealed some consequences on the growing baby.  Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Lisoril 5 HT Tablet is probably safe to breastfeed. There is limited human data to suggest that the drug poses no risk to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Lisoril 5 HT Tablet.

Driving

Lisoril 5 HT Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

Lisoril 5 HT Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

Lisoril 5 HT Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with liver issues. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
