Losanorm 25 H Tablet is a combination of the drugs hydrochlorothiazide and losartan, both of which are Thiazide-like diuretics and Angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Losanorm 25 H Tablet is used to treat essential hypertension. Essential hypertension (also known as high blood pressure) is a medical condition in which the force of the blood exerted against the artery walls remains very high, causing severe damage to the blood vessels of several organs, resulting in heart attack, heart or kidney failure, stroke, or even blindness.   

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Losanorm 25 H Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. You can have Losanorm 25 H Tablet with meals or without.

How it works-

Losanorm 25 H Tablet works by making the kidneys pass more water and salt (i.e., urine), whereas losartan works by inhibiting the binding of angiotensin II (a substance produced in the kidneys that causes narrowing of blood vessels) to its receptors, causing the blood vessels to relax and thus decreasing elevated blood pressure.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Losanorm 25 H Tablet should be avoided during pregnancy. Although there have been few human research, animal studies have revealed some consequences on the growing baby.  Please consult your physician.

Breastfeeding

Losanorm 25 H Tablet is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Ica 100Mg Capsule. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Losanorm 25 H Tablet.

Driving

Losanorm 25 H Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

Losanorm 25 H Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

Losanorm 25 H Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with liver disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
