Losanorm 50 Tablet includes Losartan, a medication that belongs to a class of drugs known as Angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Losanorm 50 Tablet is a prescription medication used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults, children, and adolescents (aged 6 to 18 years).

Losanorm 50 Tablet is also used to preserve the kidneys in hypertensive type 2 diabetes patients, and it is recommended for use in individuals with chronic heart failure when ACE (angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitor) medications are no longer helpful in treating the illness. Losanorm 50 Tablet is also used to reduce the risk of stroke in people with high blood pressure and left ventricular thickness.

How it works-

Losanorm 50 Tablet inhibits the effects of Angiotensin II (a chemical generated by your body that promotes blood vessel constriction), resulting in blood vessel relaxation and reduced blood pressure in afflicted persons.
