Lotegate Eye Drops 5ml are antibiotic and corticosteroid eye drops that are primarily used to treat bacterial infections such as conjunctivitis/pink eye. It also lowers the incidence of post-operative eye infections such as conjunctivitis and other eye inflammatory diseases. Bacterial eye infections arise when bacteria infiltrate any component of the eyeball or its surrounding tissues, such as the cornea and the conjunctiva. Red eyes, soreness, swollen eyes, watery eyes, itching, and impaired vision are all symptoms of bacterial eye infection.

How it works-
Lotegate Eye Drop contains two medications: gatifloxacin and loteprednol etabonate. It destroys germs in the eye by inhibiting their reproduction and repair. This will take care of your infection. Loteprednol etabonate could be a steroid that restrains the era of chemical delivery people (prostaglandins) that cause the eye to ended up ruddy, swollen, and tingling.

- Lotegate Eye Drops 5 ml include two medications: Gatifloxacin and Loteprednol.
- Gatifloxacin belongs to a class of antibiotics known as fluoroquinolones, which are used to treat bacterial infections such as conjunctivitis.
- It kills germs by suppressing the manufacture of enzymes termed DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, which are required for bacterial cell development and survival.
- Loteprednol is a corticosteroid that acts by preventing prostaglandins (chemical messengers) in the brain from causing red, puffy, and itchy eyes.
