Lupituss Oral Liquid 100ml is cough suspension mainly used to treat dry cough. Coughing is a reflex that helps expel foreign objects and mucus from the throat. A cough is usually acute because it lasts only a 2 to 3 weeks. However, it can also lead to a chronic cough if you continue for more than 8 weeks. A dry cough refers to a cough in which phlegm or secretions are not present along with the cough.

Lupituss Oral Suspension 100ml contains Levocloperastine, a cough suppressant. It works by blocking cough receptors present in the brain that are known to cause coughing. Lupituss Oral Suspension 100ml is usually prescribed for short-term treatment of dry cough. It does not treat chronic cough, smoking cough, emphysema, or asthma.

How it works-

Lupituss Syrup acts on the central nervous system and by blocking both the central cough center and the peripheral receptors of the airways (trachea, lungs). This will reduce coughing.
