Mahacef Dry Syrup belongs to the class of antibiotics known as cephalosporins. It is used to treat infections caused by susceptible organisms in the ears, nose, sinuses, throat, chest and lungs, and urinary system. In addition, it is used to treat uncomplicated gonorrhoea.

How it works-

Mahacef Dry Syrup 30 ml is an effective bacteriostatic antibiotic. It kills susceptible bacteria by preventing the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. It is also resistant to the toxic proteins produced by bacteria, unlike other cephalosporins. These actions, when taken together, destroy the susceptible bacteria, prevent their further growth and multiplication, and reduce the severity of the infection.
