Mahagesic Gel is a topical pain reliever. Mahagesic Gel works by preventing the production of particular chemical messengers that induce pain and inflammation. Mahagesic Gel also stimulates blood circulation at the place of application and has a cooling effect on the skin.
Usage instructions-
- Mahagesic Gel is only for external use. Use Mahagesic Gel as directed by your doctor's instructions for dosage and duration. Before using, read the label carefully.
How it works-
Mahagesic Gel is a mixture of four medications: diclofenac diethylamine, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Diclofenac diethylamine and Menthol are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) that operate by inhibiting the release of particular chemical messengers that induce pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Linseed Oil is plant-based oil that lowers inflammation and enhances blood circulation at the place of application. It also promotes the uptake of Diclofenac diethylamine into the skin. Methyl Salicylate has a cooling impact on the skin.
