Phenylephrine and chlorpheniramine, which are both members of the Nasal decongestants and Antihistamines drug classes, are combined to form Maxtra Syrup (60 ml). It is used to treat sinus pain, headaches, nasal and sinus congestion, throat or nose symptoms brought on by upper respiratory system allergies, as well as nasal and sinus pain. Additionally, it is used in conjunction with antibiotics to treat otitis media, tonsillitis, and sinusitis.
