How it works-

Telmisartan and Metoprolol succinate are the two blood pressure-lowering medications combined in Metpure Tel 40 Tablet MR. An angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) is telmisartan. It prevents the chemical angiotensin from working, which relaxes blood vessels. A beta blocker known as Metoprolol succinate works particularly on heart to decrease blood pressure and slow heartbeat. Together, they improve the blood's flow and the heart's ability to pump blood.

Pregnancy

Metpure Tel 40 Tablet MR should not be used during pregnancy since there is clear evidence that it poses a danger to the unborn child. Please consult with your physician.

Breastfeeding

Metpure Tel 40 Tablet MR is probably safe to breastfeed. There is limited human data to suggest that the drug poses no risk to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take Alcohol with Metpure Tel 40 Tablet MR.

Driving

Metpure Tel 40 Tablet MR may make you feel drowsy and woozy, less attentive, or have an impact on your eyesight. If you have these symptoms, don't drive.

Kidney

It's totally safe for people with kidney disease to take Metpure Tel 40 Tablet MR. You don't need to change your dose.

Liver 

Metpure Tel 40 Tablet MR should be administered with caution to patients with liver issues. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult to your doctor.
