Metrogyl Suspension 60 ml is an anti-microbial agent that is used to treat bacterial infections of the blood, brain, lung, bone, pelvic area, stomach lining, intestines, gum, and teeth after childbirth or wound infection after an operation. It is also used to treat infected leg ulcers, pressure sores, Helicobacter pylori-caused stomach ulcers, Trichomonas parasite-caused urinary or genital infections, amoebiasis and to prevent infections after surgery.

How it works-
Metronidazole is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial drug that kills infection-causing microbes by generating free radicals, damaging protozoa's cells, and destroying the DNA.

Metrogyl Suspension 60 mL contains metronidazole, which is used to treat and prevent bacterial and parasitic infections such as blood, brain, bone, lung, stomach lining, pelvic area, and genital infections, amoebiasis, gum and tooth infections, infected leg ulcers or pressure sores, stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori, and urinary or genital infections caused by the Trichomonas parasite. It can also be used to treat infections caused by childbirth or in a wound from an operation. It works by preventing the growth of infection-causing bacteria or parasites.
