Monotrate 20 Tablet is an organic nitrate with blood vessel dilation action. Monotrate 20 Tablet is used to treat angina pectoris, a cardiac ailment in which blood arteries in the heart constrict unexpectedly and suddenly, resulting in reduced blood supply to the heart muscles, causing suffocation and a tight discomfort in the chest, neck, or arm area.

Usage instructions-

How it works-

Monotrate 20 Tablet contains nitrates. It causes dilation of the peripheral arteries and veins. Vein dilation enhances peripheral blood pooling and lowers venous return to the heart, lowering cardiac strain. As a result, the heart muscle requires less blood and oxygen.

Pregnancy

Monotrate 20 Tablet is maybe not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Alcohol

While using Monotrate 20 Tablet, drinking alcohol may produce flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest discomfort, and low blood pressure (Disulfiram response).

Driving

Monotrate 20 Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

It is safe for people with kidney disease to take Monotrate 20 Tablet. You don't need to change your dose.

Liver

Monotrate 20 Tablet is probably safe for use in people with liver impairment. Due to limited data available, dose adjustments may not be necessary in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
