Montair LC Kid Tablet DT helps treat allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, swelling, congestion, itching, and watery eyes. This medicine also helps treat asthma and skin allergies. 

You can give Montair LC Kid Tablet DT to your child before or after food at a fixed time. It is recommended to give Montair LC Kid Tablet DT in the evening or 2 hours before physical activity for asthma. Give this medicine either in the morning or in the evening depending upon the time of onset of symptoms for allergy. You can give it in the evening if your child has both.

Some minor and temporary side effects of this medicine include diarrhea, vomiting, dizziness, nausea, rash, dry mouth, and headache. If your child is already taking medications, inform his or her doctor. Also, provide a detailed medical history for your child, including any previous episodes of allergy, heart problems, blood disorders, vascular disorders, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, skin disorder, liver impairment, and kidney malfunction. This information is critical for dose adjustments and overall treatment planning for your child.

Usage Instructions

Take Montair LC Kid Tablet DT as prescribed by your doctor. It is recommended to dissolve the tablet in a glass of water before taking it. You may take Montair LC Kid Tablet DT with or without food at a fixed time. 

How It Works

Montair LC Kid Tablet DT contains two drugs, Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Both of these medicines help relieve runny nose and sneezing caused due to allergies. Levocetirizine helps block a chemical messenger that causes watery eyes, sneezing, and runny nose. Montelukast works by blocking another chemical messenger, reducing inflammation in the airways and nose, and improving symptoms.

Safety Instructions- 

KIDNEY

Patients with kidney disease should use Montair LC Kid Tablet DT with caution. However, patients with severe kidney disease should not use Montair LC Kid Tablet DT.

LIVER

It is safe to use Montair LC Kid Tablet DT if you have liver disease. However, you should consult your child’s doctor in case of severe liver disease.
