Levocetirizine and Montelukast, which are both belong to the class of drugs known as H1 receptor antagonists and Leukotriene receptor antagonists, are combined to form Monticope Suspension. Children between the ages of 2 to 5 are prescribed Monticope Suspension for the treatment and prevention of allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria it is an allergic skin response characterised by red, raised, itchy bumps on the skin, and bronchial asthma. The heterogeneous disorder known as allergic rhinitis, or hay fever, is defined by nasal decongestion, frequent sneezing, wheezing, or red, watery, and itchy eyes in addition to nasal inflammation.

How it works-
Levocetirizine blocks the actions of histamines at the H1 receptors found on the surface of cells, and montelukast blocks the action of leukotrienes D4 in the lungs, resulting in smooth muscle relaxation and a decrease in swelling. Monticope Suspension relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, asthma and itchy bumps on the skin, and bronchial asthma.

- It consists natural chemical messenger implicated in allergic reactions, levocetirizine is an antihistamine that blocks its effects. Sneezing, running nose, watery eyes, itching, swelling, congestion, and stiffness are just a few symptoms that it assists with infections.
