Noblok Drop is a drug of the 'cough and cold medications' class that is generally used to treat symptoms of the common cold and allergies such as sneezing, runny/stuffy nose, fever, headache, body aches, congestion, or watery eyes. The common cold is a respiratory ailment that mostly affects the nose and throat. It is mostly caused by viruses known as "rhinoviruses." The virus enters the body through the nose, mouth, or eyes and rapidly spreads by droplets in the air when a sick person sneezes, coughs, or speaks.
Usage instructions-
- Noblok Drop use as directed by your doctor.
How it works-
Noblok Drop includes Paracetamol, Phenylephrine, and Chlorpheniramine. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) that acts by suppressing the formation of prostaglandins, which are chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. The decongestant phenylephrine acts by constricting and restricting the blood arteries. Consequently, it reduces mucus production and clears congestion. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine (anti-allergic medication) that acts by inhibiting the activity of histamine, a chemical that causes allergic responses. It aids in the alleviation of allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, itching, swelling, and congestion or stiffness.
