How it works-

Paracetamol reduces edema and increases the pain threshold. It also lowers body temperature by affecting heat-regulating centers in the brain. Phenylephrine works by decreasing the size of the blood vessels in the nasal passages, making breathing easier. Chlorpheniramine inhibits the activity of some body-produced chemicals that cause allergic responses. Sodium citrate acts by neutralizing stomach and urine acid. As a result, their combination is beneficial for treating flu-like symptoms.
