Norgest Tablet is a progestogen, which is a type of medication used to treat heavy, painful, or irregular periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and endometriosis. Norgest Tablet may also be utilized in the treatment of breast cancer. Endometriosis is a condition in which the tissue lining of the uterus (endometrium) develops on the ovaries, intestines, or tissues lining the pelvis. Pelvic discomfort is the most prevalent symptom.

Norgest Tablet includes Norethisterone, which mimics the function of the naturally occurring hormone progesterone. As a result, it restores hormone levels in the body and controls uterine lining development and shedding. As a result, it aids in the treatment of menstruation problems.

Usage instructions-

  • Use Norgest Tablet as directed by your doctor’s instructions. With food or without, you can take a Norgest Tablet. Take it at a fixed time.

How it works-

Norgest Tablet suppresses ovulation by inhibiting the release of pituitary hormones, which are responsible for the production of female hormones (such as estrogen and progesterone). This activity changes the endometrial lining and stops bleeding in cancer menstrual irregularities. Norgest Tablet may impede pituitary function or act directly on tumor deposits.
