Nucort 20Mg Tablet is used to treat inflammatory and auto-immune conditions such as allergies (including severe allergic reactions), inflammation (affecting the lungs, including asthma, blood vessels, heart, bowel/kidneys, muscles and joints, including rheumatoid arthritis, eye/nervous system), skin conditions, infections, and cancers (including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma).

How it works-

Prednisolone acts by inhibiting the generation of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (immune cells responsible for inflammation and allergic responses), decreasing the onset of inflammatory and allergic reactions in patients and thereby curing illnesses.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Nucort 20Mg Tablet is probably not safe to use during pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is safe to breastfeed with a Nucort 20Mg Tablet. According to human studies, the drug does not enter the breast milk in large amounts and is not harmful to the baby.

Alcohol

It is not safe to consume alcohol with a Nucort 20Mg Tablet.

Driving

Nucort 20Mg Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

It is safe for people with kidney disease to take Nucort 20Mg Tablet. You don't need to change your dose.

Liver

Nucort 20Mg Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with liver issues. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
