Nukast 4 Syrup is frequently used in children to alleviate allergy symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, itching, puffiness, congestion, and watery eyes. Nukast 4 Syrup may also be beneficial in the treatment of asthma and skin allergies.

Give Nukast 4 Syrup to your kid at a set time before or after eating, in the indicated dose, timing, and manner. For asthma, administer Nukast 4 Syrup in the evening or two hours before strenuous exertion. It is better to provide allergy medication in the morning or evening, depending on when the symptoms first appear. If your child has both, give it in the evening. If your kid vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medication, provide the same dosage again.

How it works-

Nukast 4 Syrup provides relief from the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, asthma, and urticaria, wherein Montelukast acts by inhibiting the action of leukotrienes D4, an inflammatory molecule that causes the airways to narrow and swell, in the lungs, and Levocetirizine acts by inhibiting the actions of histamines, a substance that causes an allergic reaction, at the H1 receptors present on the surface of cells. This results in smooth muscle relaxation, swelling reduction, or airway inflammation, and prevents allergic reactions.

Kidney

Nukast 4 Syrup should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.

Nukast 4 Syrup is not recommended for severe kidney disease patients.

Liver

Nukast 4 Syrup is safe for liver disease patients. Dose adjustment is not required.
