How It Works-

Obimet 250mg Tablet is a biguanide anti-diabetic medicine. It works by decreasing glucose synthesis in the liver, slowing sugar (glucose) absorption from the intestines, and improving the body's sensitivity to insulin.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Obimet 250mg Tablet is safe to use in pregnancy. Studies in animals have shown minimal or no adverse effects on the developing baby. However, limited human studies are available.

Breastfeeding

Obimet 250mg Tablet should be taken with caution when breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be stopped until the mother's therapy is finished and the medication has been cleared from her body.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take Alcohol with Obimet 250mg Tablet.

Driving

If you have too high or too low blood sugar, it could affect your ability to drive. If you experience these symptoms, don't drive.

Kidney

Obimet 250mg Tablet should be taken with caution in people with kidney disease.  Obimet 250mg Tablet dosage adjustments may be required. Please consult your doctor.

Liver
