Ozovil M Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication that comprises the active drugs Vildagliptin and Metformin. When diet, exercise, and Vildagliptin or Metformin alone are ineffective in treating type 2 diabetes, Ozovil M Tablet is administered. If you are allergic to it or have type 1 diabetes, you should avoid taking it. Take Ozovil M Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the exact amount and for the exact period. Avoid skipping a dosage or taking more than the recommended amount. Ozovil M Tablet should not be used in children under the age of 18. Abrupt discontinuation of Ozovil M Tablet may result in elevated blood sugar levels and problems such as limb, eye, and kidney damage, as well as an increased risk of infection.
Usage instructions-
- Take the Ozovil M Tablet according to your doctor’s instructions. With food, you can take an Ozovil M Tablet.
How it works-
Ozovil M Tablet regulates blood sugar levels, whereas Metformin increases the body's sensitivity to insulin (a hormone involved in glucose metabolism). This allows our body cells to make better use of the circulating blood glucose. It can also prevent the liver from producing glucose and restrict its absorption in the body.
Vildagliptin regulates blood sugar levels by inhibiting the activity of an enzyme called dipeptidyl peptidase (DPP)-4, which enhances insulin production in the body indirectly. Ozovil M Tablet as a whole regulates blood sugar levels in type II diabetic patients.
