PAN 40 Tablet helps reduce the acid amount produced in your stomach. It helps treat acid-related stomach and intestine diseases such as peptic ulcer disease, heartburn, acid reflux, and some other stomach conditions related to excessive acid production.
PAN 40 Tablet helps prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may occur with the prolonged use of painkillers. It belongs to a drug class called proton pump inhibitors. You should take this medicine one hour before a meal in the morning.
The common side effects of this medicine include dizziness, nausea, flatulence, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, and stomach pain. Avoid taking this medicine for the long-term as it may lead to an increased risk of side effects.
Make sure to inform your doctor if you are taking medicines for HIV, if you have severe liver problems, or if you have ever had an allergic reaction to similar medications in the past, or suffer from bone loss. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should speak with their doctor before taking this medicine.
