Pan L Capsule SR is a member of a class of medications known as gastrointestinal agents that are used to treat GERD, acid reflux, indigestion, heartburn, and peptic ulcers. Acidity and heartburn are symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease, which develops when stomach acid repeatedly backs up into the food pipe (oesophagus). Lesions called peptic ulcers develop on the inner linings of the stomach and intestines.

How It Works-
Levosulpiride and Pantoprazole are the two medications included in Pan-L Capsule SR. A prokinetic drug called levosulpiride increases the release of the chemical messenger acetylcholine. By doing so, the stomach and intestines flow more freely and reflux acid rising into the food pipe is avoided. A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) is pantoprazole. It works by reducing stomach acid levels, which prevents ulcers and indigestion brought on by stomach acid.
A class of medications known as gastrointestinal agents, including Pan L Capsule SR are used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, acid reflux, indigestion, heartburn, and peptic ulcers. Two medications, Pantoprazole (a proton pump inhibitor) and Levosulpiride (a prokinetic drug), are combined as Pan-L Capsule 10. Pantoprazole works by inhibiting the gastric proton pump enzyme, which is in charge of producing acid in the stomach. Levosulpiride prevents acid and food from entering the mouth by raising the pressure in the lower esophageal (food pipe) sphincter. Together, Pan L Capsule SR relieves acidity and heartburn by assisting in the prevention of acid reflux.
