Pantop-D SR Capsule helps treat gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer disease. It helps relieve the symptoms of acidity such as stomach pain, indigestion, irritation, or heartburn. 

Pantop-D SR Capsule also helps in neutralizing stomach acid and promotes easy gas passage to decrease stomach discomfort. You can take Pantop-D SR Capsule without food as prescribed by the doctor. 

This medicine may cause side effects such as dryness in the mouth, flatulence, diarrhea, headache, and stomach pain. Driving or doing anything that requires mental focus is not recommended as this medicine may cause sleepiness and dizziness. Do not drink alcohol while taking Pantop-D SR Capsule as it can make your sleepiness worse. 

Make sure to inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease before you start taking this medicine. It is better to inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

Usage Instructions-

• Take Pantop-D SR Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. You can take Pantop-D SR Capsule on an empty stomach. 

How It Works-

Pantop-D SR Capsule contains two drugs, including domperidone and pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic agent that works on the upper digestive tract to increase the stomach and intestines’ movement, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that works by decreasing the amount of stomach acid that helps relieve acid-related heartburn and indigestion.

ALCOHOL

It is recommended to take caution when drinking alcohol with Pantop-D SR Capsule.

DRIVING

It is not safe to drive during treatment with Pantop-D SR Capsule as it may lead to decreased alertness, vision impairment, sleepiness, and dizziness.

PREGNANCY

It is not safe to use Pantop-D SR Capsule during pregnancy as it may cause harmful effects on the developing baby.

BREASTFEEDING

It is advised to take caution while using Pantop-D SR Capsule during breastfeeding.
