Gabapentin, which is a member of the class of medications known as anticonvulsants, is present in Pentanerv 450Mg Tablet SR. It addresses peripheral neuropathic pain and is used either alone or in conjunction with other medications to treat different types of epilepsy.
The disordered nerve cell activity in epilepsy results in seizures or aberrant behaviour, feelings, and even loss of consciousness. Peripheral neuropathic pain is a chronic weakness, numbness, or discomfort that results from injury to the nerves in the hands and feet. It is characterised by a hot, burning, throbbing, shooting, sharp, tingling, or numbing sensation.
Usage instructions-
- Read the pack carefully and use as directed by your doctor.
How It Works-
Pentanerv 450Mg Tablet SR successfully treats epileptic seizures by changing the electrical activity in the brain by blocking voltage-gated calcium channels and reducing the release of excitatory neurotransmitters. The pain impulses that are sent by the injured nerves are also blocked by Pentanerv 450Mg Tablet SR and guards against discomfort from strained nerves.

Pentanerv 450Mg Tablet SR is a member of the class of drugs known as "anticonvulsants" that are used to treat epilepsy (fits), fibromyalgia, and neuropathic pain (pain from injured nerves). It functions by attaching to a particular location on voltage-gated calcium channels and limiting the activity of overexcited channels; this reduces the likelihood of seizures while easing nerve pain. Overall, it lessens nerve pain by obstructing pain signals that are sent to the brain and injured nerves.
