A combination drug called Pentanerv NT Tablet is intended to treat neuropathic pain. Nerve pain is a symptom of this chronic, progressive illness of the nerves. Symptoms include shooting, scorching, or stabbing pain, unpleasant feelings, difficulty relaxing or sleeping, and evoked pain (pain brought on by situations that are not typically uncomfortable).

How It Works-

In the form of a tablet, Pentanerv NT combines the drugs gabapentin and nortriptyline. Gabapentin is an alpha 2 delta ligand that lessens pain by regulating the calcium channel activity of nerve cells. The neurotransmitters serotonin and noradrenaline are increased by the tricyclic antidepressant nortriptyline, which slows the flow of pain signals to the brain. They all work to alleviate neuropathic pain, or pain caused by damaged nerves.
