Periset Injection is an antiemetic that is used to prevent nausea and vomiting during chemotherapy. Nausea is a sensation of unease in the stomach that frequently precedes vomiting. The violent voluntary or involuntary ejection of stomach contents through the mouth, on the other hand, is known as vomiting.
Usage instructions-

Ondansetron, included in Periset Injection, inhibits the activity of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that triggers the vomiting center (chemoreceptor trigger zone - CTZ) in the brain. As a result, it reduces nausea and vomiting produced by chemotherapy in adults and children, as well as following surgery.
