Periset MD Tablet includes Ondansetron, a medication of the Anti-emetics class. Periset MD Tablet is works in the treatment and prevention of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy or radiation. Periset MD Tablet is also used to reduce nausea and vomiting following surgery.

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Periset MD Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. You can have Periset MD Tablet with meals or without.

How it works-

Periset MD Tablet is a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist (particular chemical receptor) that acts by inhibiting serotonin receptors in the CTZ chemoreceptor trigger zone (the area of the brain that causes nausea and vomiting).

Pregnancy

Periset MD Tablet is safe to use in pregnancy. Studies in animals have shown minimal or no adverse effects on the developing baby. However, limited human studies are available.

Breastfeeding

Periset MD Tablet is probably safe to breastfeed. There is limited human data to suggest that the drug poses no risk to the baby.

Alcohol

It does not cause any harmful side effects to consume alcohol with Periset MD Tablet.

Driving

Periset MD Tablet does not affect your drive.

Kidney

It is safe for people with kidney disease to take Periset MD Tablet. You don't need to change your dose.

Liver
