Pulmocef CV 500 Tablet is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections such as pharyngitis/tonsillitis (throat infections), otitis media (ear infections), sinusitis (sinus infection), gonorrhea (sexually transmitted disease), Lyme disease, septicaemia (bloodstream infection), meningitis (brain and spinal cord inflammation), lower respiratory tract, skin, urinary tract, bone, and joint infections.
Usage instructions-
- Use Pulmocef CV 500 Tablet as directed by your doctor’s instructions. With food or without, you can take Pulmocef CV 500 Tablet. Take it at a fixed time.
How it works-
Pulmocef CV 500 Tablet contains two antibiotics: Cefuroxime (a cephalosporin antibiotic) and Clavulanic acid (a beta-lactamase inhibitor). Cefuroxime acts by blocking the growth of bacterial cell coverings, which are required for life. As a result, the bacterium is killed. Clavulanic acid reduces bacterial resistance while increasing the action of cefuroxime against bacteria. Pulmocef CV 500 Tablet works together to treat bacterial infections.

Pregnancy
Pulmocef CV 500 Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Studies in animals have shown minimal or no adverse effects on the developing baby. However, limited human studies are available.
Breastfeeding
It is safe to breastfeed with Pulmocef CV 500 Tablet. According to human studies, the drug does not enter the breast milk in large amounts and is not harmful to the baby.
Alcohol
It does not cause any harmful side effects to consuming alcohol with Pulmocef CV 500 Tablet.
Driving
Pulmocef CV 500 Tablet is avoided during driving it may cause dizziness. Before taking it, consult your doctor.
Kidney
