Rabekind Plus Tablet SR is a gastrointestinal drug that is used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acidity, heartburn, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, Helicobacter pylori infection, irritable bowel syndrome, indigestion, duodenal and gastric ulcers. A mucous layer normally protects the stomach from acid. In rare circumstances, excessive acid production erodes the mucous layer, resulting in acidity.

How it works-

Rabekind Plus Tablet SR reduces stomach ulcers, nausea, and acid reflux by inhibiting stomach acid secretions by blocking the proton pump (H+ K+ ATPase) at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, and levosulpiride acts by blocking dopamine D2 receptors in the CTZ (area in the medulla oblongata that causes vomiting when stimulated) and in the gut, facilitating food movement from the stomach.
