Ramcor H 2.5 Tablet is a combination of Ramipril and Hydrochlorothiazide, which are Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors and Diuretics, respectively. Ramcor H 2.5 Tablet is prescribed to treat essential hypertension. Hypertension is a disorder in which the force of the blood on the artery walls is consistently high, increasing the risk of heart disease, renal disease, and stroke.

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Ramcor H 2.5 Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. You can have this drug with meals or without.

How it works-

Ramcor H 2.5 Tablet helps to control high blood pressure by reducing the activity of an enzyme called Angiotensin converting enzyme (an enzyme responsible for producing blood vessel constriction), which improves blood flow throughout the body. Hydrochlorothiazide works by reducing surplus fluid volume and limiting salt reabsorption in the kidneys, which relaxes blood vessels and allows blood to flow more readily through blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Pregnancy

Ramcor H 2.5 Tablet should be avoided during pregnancy. Although there have been few human research, animal studies have revealed some consequences on the growing baby. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Ramcor H 2.5 Tablet is probably safe to breastfeed. There is limited human data to suggest that the drug poses no risk to the baby.

Alcohol

It may cause excessive drowsiness to take alcohol with Ramcor H 2.5 Tablet.

Driving

Ramcor H 2.5 Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

Ramcor H 2.5 Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
