Respicure D Syrup is a member of the group of drugs known as "cough and cold preparations" and is primarily used to treat dry cough. Whether it is productive or dry, coughing aids in infection prevention and the removal of irritants from the airways in the body. The two types of coughs are dry cough and chesty cough. A chesty cough (wet cough) indicates mucous or sputum is generated to assist clear the airways, whereas a dry cough is tickly and doesn't create any nasty or thick mucus.

How It Works-
Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide are three medications included in Respicure-D Syrup, which treats dry cough. Decongestant phenylephrine relieves nasal congestion or stuffiness by constricting the tiny blood vessels. As an antiallergen, chlorpheniramine maleate calms allergy symptoms such runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. A cough suppressant called dextromethorphan hydrobromide stops coughing by decreasing the activity of the cough centre in the brain.
Safety information-
Pregnancy
It is maybe not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Talk to your doctor.
Breastfeeding
Respicure-D Syrup is probably safe to breastfeed. There is limited human data to suggest that the drug poses no risk to the baby.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to take Alcohol with Respicure D Syrup.
Driving
Respicure D Syrup may cause side effects that can affect your drive.
Kidney
Respicure-D Syrup is most likely safe for use in people with kidney disese. Due to limited data available, dose adjustments may not be necessary in patients with kidney disease. Please consult to your physician.
Liver
It's probably safe for people with liver disease to take Respicure-D Syrup. You don't need to change your dose.
