Rest Aid Plus Tablet is a combination medication intended to treat morning sickness and vomiting during pregnancy. Its major components are Doxylamine and Pyridoxine. Doxylamine is an antihistaminic, which means it prevents the natural compounds in the body that cause nausea and vomiting, whereas pyridoxine is a vitamin that also helps to manage nausea and vomiting and is required during pregnancy. Rest Aid Plus Tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor, at the doses and for the period prescribed. Excessive tiredness, lethargy, rashes, and itching are frequent Rest Aid Plus Tablet side effects. The majority of them are transient, but if you notice that the side effects continue or that your health worsens, you should consult your doctor immediately. How it works-

Rest Aid Plus Tablet reduces nausea and vomiting in pregnant women by preventing the effects of specific chemicals (histamine) in the body that induce nausea and vomiting, and pyridoxine works by restoring the body's lost nutrients. They work together to alleviate morning sickness.

Pregnancy

Rest Aid Plus Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Studies in animals have shown minimal or no adverse effects on the developing baby. However, limited human studies are available. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Rest Aid Plus Tablet is probably safe to breastfeed. Limited human data suggests that the drug causes no risk to the baby. Please consult your doctor.

Prolonged and larger doses of Rest Aid Plus Tablet may cause sleepiness and other side effects in the baby.

Alcohol

It is recommended to use the Rest Aid Plus Tablet with caution when drinking alcohol. Please consult your physician.

Driving

Rest Aid Plus Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

Rest Aid Plus Tablet is probably safe for use in people with kidney disease. Due to the limited data available, dose adjustments may not be necessary in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your physician.

Liver
