Rest Aid Tablet is an anti-emetic drug that is used to treat nausea (feeling ill) and vomiting (being sick) during pregnancy. Morning sickness (nausea and vomiting during pregnancy) is a frequent pregnancy symptom. In certain situations, pregnant women have intense nausea and vomiting, a condition known as hyperemesis gravidarum. In pregnant women, it causes electrolyte abnormalities and weight loss.

Rest Aid Tablet is a prescription medication. It is advised to take it precisely as directed. It works best when taken at a specific time; however, it can be taken with or without food. Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. You must finish the therapeutic regimen even if you feel better.

Usage instructions-

  • Rest Aid Tablet is used according to your doctor’s instructions. With food or without, you can take a Rest Aid Tablet.

How it works-

Doxylamine and Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) are included in the Rest Aid Tablet. Doxylamine is an antihistamine, which acts by inhibiting the natural chemical (histamine) in the body, preventing nausea and vomiting. Pyridoxine works by raising the body's B6 levels and reducing nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Rest Aid Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Studies in animals have shown minimal or no adverse effects on the developing baby. However, limited human studies are available. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Rest Aid Tablet is probably safe to breastfeed. Limited human data suggests that the drug causes no risk to the baby. Please consult your doctor.

Prolonged and larger doses of Rest Aid Tablet may cause sleepiness and other side effects in the baby.

Alcohol

It is recommended to use Rest Aid Tablet with caution when drinking alcohol. Please consult your physician.

Driving

Rest Aid Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

Rest Aid Tablet is probably safe for use in people with kidney disease. Due to the limited data available, dose adjustments may not be necessary in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your physician.

Liver

Rest Aid Tablet is probably safe for use in people with liver impairment. Due to the limited data available, dose adjustments may not be necessary in patients with liver disease. Please consult your physician.
