Rispond Plus LS Tablet is an antipsychotic medication that is primarily used to treat schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a mental illness that alters how your brain interprets information. It leads you to become disconnected from reality. You may see, hear, or believe in things that are not true. Schizophrenia is a symptom, not a medical condition. It can be caused by a mental or physical disease, substance misuse, or excessive stress or trauma.
Usage instructions-
- Use the Rispond Plus LS Tablet as directed by your doctor’s instructions. With food or without, you can take the Rispond Plus LS Tablet. Take it at a fixed time.
How it works-
Rispond Plus LS Tablet is a combination of two medications: Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl. Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic that works by regulating the amounts of chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) to enhance mood, thinking, and behavior. Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic that acts on the neurological system to rectify some of the chemical imbalances that underlie Parkinson's disease and some adverse effects associated with antipsychotic medication.
