Rostar 20 Tablet is a statin, a type of medicine used to reduce cholesterol levels and prevent heart disease. Cholesterol is a type of fatty substance that accumulates in the blood. When your blood vessels become too thick, it causes them to narrow, which can lead to heart attacks or strokes.

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Rostar 20 Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.  You can have this drug with food or without.

How it works-

Rostar 20 Tablet is a lipid-lowering (statin) medicine. It works by inhibiting an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that the body needs to produce cholesterol, decreasing "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides while increasing "good" cholesterol (HDL).

Pregnancy

Using Rostar 20 Tablet during pregnancy is extremely dangerous. Seek the counsel of your doctor, as research on pregnant women and animals have revealed considerable risk to the growing infant.

Breastfeeding

It is not safe to breastfeed with Rostar 20 Tablet. There is evidence that the drug might cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is recommended to use Rostar 20 Tablet with caution when drinking alcohol. Please consult your physician.

Driving

Rostar 20 Tablet does not affect your drive.

Kidney

Rostar 20 Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.

Liver 

Rostar 20 Tablet should be taken with caution in people with liver problems.  Rostar 20 Tablet dosage adjustments may be required. Please consult your doctor.
