Ambroxol and roxithromycin, which are both members of the mucolytic and macrolide antibiotic group of drugs, are combined to form the Roxid M Tablet. It is used to treat respiratory infections that affect both the upper and lower airways, including tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, and pharyngitis. An infection of the respiratory tract (RT) refers to any of the body's breathing-related organs, including the sinuses, throat, airways, or lungs.
Usage instructions-
- Read the pack carefully and use as directed by your doctor.
How It Works-
Roxithromycin and Ambroxol are both included in Roxid M Tablet. Ambroxol helps to thin and loosen mucus (phlegm), which facilitates coughing up the mucus. By preventing the production of necessary proteins, which are needed by bacteria to perform important tasks, roxithromycin prevents bacterial growth. The antibacterial efficacy of roxithromycin is improved by the addition of ambroxol. In addition to Roxithromycin and Ambroxol, it aids in the treatment of respiratory infections.

Those illnesses known as respiratory tract infections might affect the sinuses, throat, airways, or lungs. To eliminate the germs that cause respiratory tract infections, Roxithromycin and Ambroxol, two separate medications, are combined in Roxid M Tablet. Roxithromycin acts by preventing bacterial development. Ambroxol aids in loosening thick mucus, which facilitates coughing up the mucus.. This makes it easier for air to enter and exit. Additionally, it enhances Roxithromycin's capability to combat microbes.
